ENGWE - EP-2 3.0 Foldable Fat Tire Electric Bike

The ENGWE EP-2 3.0 takes the versatility of a compact folding e-bike and adds the power, technology and ride quality expected from a modern full-size electric commuter. Its 750W rear hub motor delivers up to 1,500W peak power and 90 Nm of torque, while a 48V 15Ah battery provides up to 65 miles of claimed range under PAS Level 1 conditions.

Designed for commuting, recreation and mixed-surface riding, the EP-2 3.0 combines 20" x 4.0" fat tires, hydraulic front suspension, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and a selectable torque/cadence assist system. An integrated IoT system adds GPS tracking, motion alerts and app connectivity, while the folding magnesium-alloy frame makes the bike easier to store and transport.

Battery Features

The EP-2 3.0 uses a frame-integrated 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery, providing 720Wh of total capacity. ENGWE specifies 21700 battery cells and integrated BMS protection.

An included 54.6V 8A fast charger allows ENGWE to advertise approximately 2-hour fast charging, significantly reducing downtime between rides.

Riding Modes & Assist

The EP-2 3.0 offers five levels of pedal assist and allows the rider to select between torque-based and cadence-based assistance through the bike's system.

Torque sensing responds to how much force the rider applies to the pedals, providing a more natural and proportional power delivery. Cadence sensing provides assistance based primarily on whether and how quickly the pedals are turning, giving riders the flexibility to select the response that best suits their riding style.
