Bakcou warrants the products for a limited time from the date of original retail purchase against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Bakcou’s published guidelines. The guidelines include, but are not limited to, information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and service communications. “Original retail purchase” means the Product was purchased new for the first time directly from Bakcou or from an authorized Bakcou Dealer.  Registration is required for warranty claims.

Bakcou requires registering your Bakcou eBike/eScooter within 45 days of receiving your eBike/eScooter. Registration is required to take advantage of this warranty.  This will allow Bakcou to provide you with better service in the future.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

Normal wear and tear.

Any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the eBike owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the eBike/eScooter as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding. 

Improper follow-up maintenance.

The Battery is not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear or water damage.

For the avoidance of doubt, Bakcou will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts.  Any modifications made to the bike by the customer will void the warranty.

Any products sold by Bakcou that are not an eBike/eScooter.

Determining whether damage or defect to an eBike/eScooter protected by this limited warranty shall be in the sole discretion of Bakcou.

Customer will be responsible for shipping costs associated with the replacement of any parts or components.

For EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTIONS:  Bakcou has partnered with Extend to offer supplemental extended warranty packages for an additional cost. Extended warranty packages allow for a one-time replacement on parts and components. Extended warranties start on the day the Bakcou Limited Warranty period ends.
