The Bakcou Mule Jäger SD takes Bakcou's flagship heavy-duty hunting platform and upgrades it with one of the most advanced drivetrains available on an electric bike. At its core is the powerful Bafang Ultra M620 mid-drive motor, delivering up to 1,500W peak output and 160 Nm of torque, paired with the German-engineered Rohloff E-14 electronic 14-speed internal gear hub.
Built for demanding backcountry riding, hunting and heavy hauling, the Mule Jäger SD combines a 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum frame, long-travel air suspension, four-piston hydraulic brakes and aggressive 4-inch fat tires. Its modular rear rack also supports an optional second 20Ah battery, expanding total battery capacity to 40Ah for extended trips deep into the backcountry.

The Mule Jäger SD is purpose-built for carrying equipment into terrain where conventional vehicles may not be practical.

The defining feature of the Mule Jäger SD is its German-engineered Rohloff E-14 electronic internal gear hub.
Rather than using a conventional exposed derailleur and cassette, its 14 gears are enclosed inside the rear hub. The system provides a broad 526% gear range while protecting the drivetrain from rocks, mud, sticks and other trail debris.
Electronic push-button shifting allows riders to change gears quickly and precisely, including while the bike is stationary.
Traditional derailleur systems generally require the drivetrain to be moving before gears can change properly.
The Rohloff system allows the Mule Jäger SD to shift even when the bike is completely stopped.
For hunters and riders operating on steep or technical terrain, this makes it possible to select an appropriate climbing gear before moving again—a significant advantage when carrying cargo or towing a trailer.

The Mule Jäger SD is built around a 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame, a material widely used in performance bicycles because it combines strength, durability and relatively low weight.
The frame combines the strength yet lightness required for backcountry utility with a step-through design that helps make mounting and dismounting easier—particularly when the bike is carrying equipment or the rider is wearing heavy hunting gear.
